Keep me. There are some songs that I hear, they instantly hit home for me and they become part of the soundtrack of my life. That happened again when I listened to
Crowder’s KEEP ME. It’s a unique sound, but lyrics are what always grab my heart. Read all the lyrics

So why did this song hit home? I think I can answer your question, but telling you a story from life before we left for our month in the States. I met up with a friend, who doesn’t have the same beliefs as me, but whenever I see him, I’m encouraged and we have very real conversation. He asked me, “How are you?” I knew the answer in my head and I had a quick wrestling match in my head, where I was asking myself, “Do I be honest or give the ‘nice Christian’ answer?” In the past I would have gone with the “nice Christian” answer because I thought I couldn’t be honest, if it wasn’t positive. However, in the last year, I’ve learned that we need to be honest more than we need to be nice.
I decided to be honest. So I looked at him and said, “It’s been really, really rough,” then a proceeding in telling him, how difficult this fall had been, when we had expected it to be a little bit more relaxed after a crazy spring and summer, capped off by THIS EVENT. As I shared, in brief, about how it was tough, I told him, “You know what? The best argument I have for the existence of God, is that I’m still here in Czech. After all these years of disappointment, unkept promises, betrayal and etc., if God didn’t exist I would have left years ago.”
Then I plainly said, “The Lord has lovely kept me here.”
Lord keep me
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’
Lord keep…
I lay down and slept;
I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.
